@NeilFinny @Ive tried several times to cancel and get a refund but they are refusing. They say I have to wait for delivery then send it back and pay the postage!😡
as for the tracking, I don’t know. I will try contacting DPD and see what they say.

Fitbit shipping email means diddly squat in my experience.....the courier never gets the item .
Endless calls to Fitbit reveal a mass of contradictions including the tracking number has an error (or no it hasn't) , new tracking number will be sent in a few days (or no, just use the old one), item has been sent to the courier (or no, it hasn't or we've not got one and we don't know when we will have one or it's somewhere in warehouse) and as to shipping and delivery dates there are too many permutations and combinations to list.
However, Fitbit were clear and consistent with their "NO" to my request for a refund....raised issue with Paypal ....no response so far from Fitbit (even no reply to the "Hello, is there anybody out there? ...)
At least you know where you are with Fitbit....you can rely on them to go on in their same old way and fail customers in their same old way.

Not so strange...happened a while back with a company massively oversold their delivery capability...I guess tracking order was issued by courier prior to their pickup which never happens..
I failed to get an answer from Fitbit over their tracking number frailty. I was answered with various stuff about their warehouse...they would not take up my suggestion to call the warehouse to get the answer...

@thiepval68 So we are in exactly the same situation and have been fed the same BS excuses. I’m also going to raise a case through PayPal Once I’ve got a response from DPD. I’m pretty sure they will confirm that they never received my parcel despite what Fitbit are saying. Hopefully they can get my money back. I won’t be rushing out to buy one now if they do.

@NeilFinny all fitbit has to do to generate a tracking number is to print a label. They don't have to do anything else with it and technically your "package" will be in the system. So your tracking number means nothing until the delivery company actually receives it. They could have printed the label and thrown it away for all we know. And unless the delivery company actually receives the package by the 25th, in my opinion they are not actually fulfilling their promise by the deadline they stated, tracking number or not. I feel like they are giving everyone the runaround. I will never order directly from Fitbit again.

@sarasmile83 I agree. They have generated the shipping just to say that they have ‘shipped by 25/9’ when in fact the goods are either going to other orders or there’s no stock.

This is the thing, in my limited knowledge, from building Magento e-commerce sites and linking to shipping systems.
the tracking numbers (proper tracking numbers) actually come from the courier not fitbit.
with them all erroring, I’m shocked they could actually be creating random numbers to say here is a tracking number.
we won’t know till Monday, but it wouldn’t surprise if DFD don’t turn round and say we don’t have any knowledge of all this whatsoever

@NeilFinny you might have a point if people are actually getting errors with their tracking numbers then that sounds very shady. My knowledge of shipping is only with FedEx in the US and I know you only need to print a label and then you get a real tracking number. Although the tracking will reflect that only a label has been made so it's basically useless until you see that it actually made it to a facility. That was what was happening to me until finally my tracking number showed that my package was actually received at the FedEx facility late on the 25th. So in my case I guess eventually they held up their end of the deal but I won't even get it until the 5th so pre-order was a huge waste of time.

So frustrating! Placed a pre-order when I received the email. Took a screen shot of the order page with an order number. Never received an email. Took a while but saw a charge to credit card. Now that charge is gone. Messaged Fitbit on Facebook and they say they can't find an order by order number (?? scary right). Nor by my email. It's the only one I use. Giving up and just going to an apple watch. I have an older fitbit with a black screen but it tracks my steps. Already paid for premium. Just not super impressed with their customer service. Good luck to all waiting for their orders. Sounds like they are cancelling orders they can't fulfill.
welp...surprise on me..opened up a box that just came in mail and there was the new Sense!! Crazy how they said there was no order

Fyi, I ordered at Amazon several weeks ago and my delivery date is currently set to November 19th 😮
Maybe generally a lot more demand than supply? Meanwhile best buy seems to have it available for pick up next day in my area...

@NeilFinny I’m doing this as soon as I hear back from DPD Imports. The UK people said the tracking number (and my address) was not in their system but as it’s coming from outside the UK the Imports team would need to confirm. Once I have this I’m opening a PayPal case.
