Why cant the battery status be on the home screen???

I know this has been asked before, but why do I have to swipe to see the battery level? I like wearing my Sense and I like the always on display, so battery level IS important.

The swipe isn't 100% reliable so you end up having to do it a couple of times which makes a simple experience more frustrating than it should be..

Feeling this frustration a couple of times every day makes you think differently about a product..

This would be a simple software fix, so please fix it.

Hello @Hugegriff and welcome to the Community.  Swiping to see the battery level seems to be a default step for many Fitbit models, not just the Sense.  There are many clock faces available that show battery level on the screen.  Tap on your device/battery icon on your app > Sense tile > Gallery > Clocks.  Type battery level in the search field.  The previews and descriptions should tell you if it has an AOD.

There is an app called Medical ID or med 3.0 or something like and I use it for my clock face and it shows my battery all the time. Just fyi.
