Been a Fitbit customer for many years, overall love the product. Just wondering when they will fix the IOS notifications for texts? My calls notifications work, but not for text. Hasn't' worked for about what, a year now? Thanks!

This is what worked for me:

Paul: Please note, all steps must be completed in the specified order for the issue to be resolved.
Go to Bluetooth in iOS Settings.
Tap on your Fitbit device settings or "i"
Where you see Share System Notifications - this should be on. Turn it off for a full 10 seconds, then turn it back on again.
Paul: Next, you will go back to phone settings, then go to Notifications. From there you will:
Confirm that 'Show Previews' is set to 'Always'
Then, scroll down to Messages.
Confirm that 'Show Previews' is set to 'Always'
All three alerts enabled: Lock Screen, Notification Center, Banners.
Confirm that 'Show Previews' is set to 'Always'
Make sure the Fitbit app and other apps have "notification grouping" turned "by app only".
Note: The last three steps need to be repeated for Phone, Calendar, and any other application you wish to enable app notifications for in the Fitbit app.
Paul: Also, swipe to right side on the Fitbit clockface > Find the quick settings menu > Turn off do not disturb mode and sleep mode.
Paul: Like a moon and minus icon.
Paul: Also, check Fitbit app > Profile picture icon top left > Sense picture > Notifications > Enable all settings please.

Hi @Jen_5, it's nice to see you around.

I appreciate your feedback and I'm sorry that the text notifications aren't working well. Since you have an iOS device, have you double check the notifications settings in your phone? Please note that with the introduction of iOS 13, the required settings to receive notifications changed and you need to set Show Previews to either Always or When Unlocked and add a check mark for Notifications Center under Alerts for Messages to receive text notifications on your Sense.

Please let me know if the issue persists even after making sure of those settings so I can continue helping you with this matter.

My Sense notifies me with a call, but that’s it. Been this way for a couple of years with Fitbit products I’ve owned. Fitbit and Apple really aren’t compatible. I’ve tried everything on these pages, and spoken with several people. Just the way it is. Thanks though.

Happening to me too. My Sense is connected to my iP12, ckd notification settings to allow messages and calls into the Sense but when tested, nothing comes through. I followed the instructions on Fitbit’s website ~ step by step.

Have you checked the setting found in your phones notification center?

The sync problems are ongoing, my wife's Sense hardly ever syncs with her iPhone SE (2020) and if we're lucky it might sync once a week at best.  Her watch also regularly goes flat as due to not syncing the phone doesn't notify her that it needs charging!.  No matter what I do the situation never improves, yet my watch which starts with a G.. never fails to sync with my iPhone
