inaccurate data: Distance, heartbeat, resting heart rate, oxygen

Unfortunately, my Ionic made its e.o.w.; that device was close to perfect regarding distance, heartbeat, and resting heart rate. I double-checked that many times with real medical devices, as well as with professional GPS devices. Now I got me this senseless Sense. A distance, proven with a map, GPS, car odometer, was counted as 5.6 MLS, being.... 9.2. So I put the Sense on "exercise," which starts that GPS, made the same route again - 9.12, pretty close. The very next day, the same route, without "exercise" - 7.3. Heartbeat: from 124 to 78 within a blink of an eye, so I double-checked that. According to the hospital's device, 120 made anything in-between 92 and 145 on the Sense, 150 gave 87 to 183, and 45 51-66. Not much better, the resting heart rate. Nice: 99% of one night I was at 51 bps/according to this Sense, but that made no change on my resting heart rate, but gave a 21 on sleeping quality. Oxygen is indicated only once daily and only with that clock face - and, also, wrong (in a range of +/- 3 %).

Good news on this device: If you enter your mood, the device tells you your mood. So, if you've got the blues + enter that correctly, yes, it tells you that you have the blues. No, I didn't try that; with Fitbit being Google, I don't want to get personalized offers on my mental status (such as "Our pills will make you feel better," or: For the perfect treatment, try our 45 ACP and your pain will disappear).

I also do not like that "diverse" design, and the band is a design made by people just wanting to make something different, no matter whether it makes sense. These folks would introduce rectangular wheels for mountain bikes to ease the climbing of hills. There is a reason why, for the past centuries, nobody made that stupid design.

Right now, I only want to get rid of this useless thing.

I'm not sure what is meant by Fitbit being Google @Strayfrog?

Fitbit has currently has no relationship with Google. It is tied up in the courts and governments.

No worries, you won't have to wait that much longer to enjoy your tracker data on Google search. The biz strategy of Fitbit changed for the only reason, to fit Alphabet. Probably their sell crap - earn even more on subscriptions kid's idea will be less successful than expected. Their try to collect very private data is unacceptable, and for no other reason than adding profit on selling/abusing these data. Why don't they offer an on-premise-storage on their customer's own devices? For access to your own exercise/health data, you've to log in on Fitbit.com. While Ionic was a pretty much reliable product, with still huge profits for Fitbit, Sense is overprized, real trash and the "Premium" offers nothing else than bs. Yes, Samsung, Apple, Garmin products are higher prized, their profits on these devices are close to crime, but, at least, the actual products are accurate. Like a car that is not running is worth nothing, a tracker tracking incorrectly is worthless as well. And always keep in mind: There is no tracking smartwatch with costs of production above $ 12. No Apple, no Garmin, and no Fitbit. This little gap in-between costs and pricing should cover good and reliable firmware, software, and app. Even without a "Premium" subscription. Otherwise, there is no reason not to buy official Chinese crap on Alibaba or elsewhere for cheap.
