"Connection lost" message when using Sense Google Assistant

Hello,

I can't use the Google Assistant because of a "Connection lost" message that appears when I want to use the assistant.

I tried to restart both my Fitbit and my phone with no help. I also tried to disable/enable bluethoot and also to restart the Fitbit app.

I must say that I have no sync problem! Everything is sync, the app has all the data... In some words, everything works fine except for the assistant.

Thanks in advance!

Fitbit smartphone app version: 3.37 (20243547)

Firmware: 44.128.4.4.17

Google Assistant State: Unconnected (seems to be the problem)

I tried to connect the Google Assistant in the app but I got an error message telling me that Google Assistant is not yet available in my area (Canada French). So now can you confirm to me that this is the cause of the error message on my Fitbit watch?

So now to resolve the problem I have activated Alexa instead of Google Assistant. Now Alexa works perfectly on my Fitbit.

Can you please tell me when the Google Assistant will be available in French Canada?

Thanks a lot for your help!

As you haven't completed the setup of Google Assistant it won't/can't work.

The trick is to pretend you live in America for language and location etc and also in Google Assistant, then it may allow you to finish the setup.

Hope this helps
