Why is it so problematic to get "Sense Controls" to sync with Bluetooth on an iPhone? I never can get it to although my iPhone XS says it's connected, my Sense never will recognize it as such.

Sense controls are the easiest to fix because the user can pair it without the Fitbit app.
Open the Sence Control swttings on the Sense. It should show as paired.
Yes sense controls should have nothing to do with notifications, and will not work if, on the phone, the tracker isn't showing as paired,
Now if someone is asking for help with there phone and notifications, or controls, please include the phone type.

Same here in Ireland. I don't have an iPhone, but an up to date Android. I receive no notifications at all. I have an error message in my fitbit app saying that I need to restart my phone to connect. I may have restarted my phone and my sense over 10x now, and it still doesn't work. Kind of giving up now

@SandraCrists this thread is not about Notifications, you may want to post a message on the android board.

The sound from the call comes out the watch not the phone when you answer on the watch

@Pjetro it is not just for calls, but also for responding with voice through the tracker for text notifications.
However for iOS, apple has blocked this feature.
