Hi,
I'm trying to change the Voice Assistant on my Sense from the default Alexa to Google Assistant. But I can't do that because the "Voice Assistant" pane is not shown in Sense settings on my Google Pixel 6a:

Google Assistant was working just fine on my Sense for a very long time (2+ years), and I was a very happy Google Assistant user. But I had to reinstall the Fitbit app to fix some bluetooth issues, and now I can no longer use my most-used feature of the Sense because I can't select the Voice Assistant at all. Please help!
Best Regards,
Sami R.

Hi @ranezu - that is strange, the photo is useful. Try logout of the Fitbit App and swipe off the active window and in Android clear the storage cache and force stop it. Restart the watch and phone.
It may be necessary to remove the watch from the account and re add it.
If this doesn't fix it, it might just be another bug with the new Fitbit App.

Hi @Guy_ ,
Thanks for the response. I did everything you suggested but it didn't help. I even removed Sense from the application, logged out, uninstalled the Fitbit application, cleaned up all bluetooth pairings from the phone, restarted phone & watch and reinstalled the application but to no avail.
When googling about this issue I came across some link where it was suggested that maybe the Google Assistant has been deliberately disabled in Finland. Do you know if this is indeed the case?
I don't mind using Google Assistant in English, and this indeed worked just fine for 2 years or so. And this problem came up only after I had to reinstall the Fitbit application. So maybe this is some new restriction in the new Fitbit application?

Hi @Guy_ ,
Found a workaround for this! I removed all other languages except for "English (United Kingdom)" from the Android system settings and then the "Voice Assistant" pane came up in the Sense settings. And it would seem to be enough to have that as the primary language, and add other languages as secondary.
However, I can't set other languages, even "English (Finland)" as the primary language, because then the Sense will start complaining "Reconnect to Bluetooth" whenever trying to use the Google Assistant.
So this kind of configuration is working for me:

@ranezu - thanks for the brilliant feedback and getting it working in English.
The new rebuilt Fitbit App has all sorts of issues which you can see in "The redesigned Fitbit app is rolling out!" topic in the appropriate iOS or Android app forums along with the other unhappy users where you will see more fully the issues.
Unfortunately it would seem likely you are stuck with this version officially. Though there may be some tweaks over time already mentioned there. This could take months to get this test version (requiring reworking) to anywhere near how the previous version was.
Thanks again for posting the issue and workaround. Another unofficial possibility is to roll back to the version 3 Fitbit App noted in the topic.
