Did you mean:

stop text notification from auto turning on the screen

I DO want text and call notifications, but I don't want them to automatically turn on the watch face. I'd rather have to lift my wrist like I do when checking the time.

If I'm in a meeting and my arm is sitting there and a text comes across that I don't want someone else to see I'm SOL right now unless someone can help. Was in with a very annoying client and my coworker sent a ZZZZ text and I'm sure the client's employee saw it on my watch!!

Eeekk!  That sounds bad.. Perhaps you can put on Do not disturb prior to your meetings?  you can just swipe to the left to get access to your quick settings menu and DND is the top left button.

@kawaiiko, thanks for the feedback. yeah, not really a valid option since I know i'll forgot to either turn it on or off. I also have an iPhone and Apple watch and this feature is a basic function. Doesn't seem Fitbit is up to par...still... 🙄

I think without this ability I'll have to take it back tomorrow.

Unfortunately, @nanonano76, that feature won't be available between now and tomorrow. So, you'll have to do what is best for you.  I use the DND feature on a regular basis on the Sense, and it becomes an easy habit after a while.
