unpacked new Fitbit Sense and it is not recognised by Iphone

Iphone won`t recognise  the device through bluetooth.

When connecting to Laptop (windows 10) it is synchronising and there is a big green tick on the screen however on the next sceen it suggests to load the fitbit app - the opening screen again that came up when unpacking the thing.

Should have known better as my Ionic just died on me after 2 years - was a replacement as well as the first one did not work eigther. Getting a functioning product seems to be a lottery with bad odds.

Hi @HolgerOliver did you first disconnect from the Windows 10 laptop before trying to connect with your iphone?

My experience is that a Fitbit can only connect with one device at the time, have you visit the page: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?  

 

I hope that will help you, otherwise it's a good idea to contact Fitbit support

Hello Ronald, thank you for the quick reply, i did try iphone only first and went through the various steps a few times with reseting to factory settings each time, that is usuallay easy when the watch is recognised, then as a last resort there ewas an attempt with the Laptop.

Iphone is recognising something as it displays at least batery status, but then when looking at diplay templates for the watch for example, message is that there is no connection.

@HolgerOliver - You should stick to syncing to your iPhone only. According to this list of compatible devices, Windows 10 is no longer compatible. (Yes, it used to be.) Your iPhone needs to be at Apple iOS 12.2 or higher. As long as your iPhone is upgraded to that level, you should be ok.

Hello Carol,

I used the Fitbit APP in Windows 10, should be suppoorted.

Anyways, tired again to link with iphone just as done previously and it worked, even though just doing the same thing again (expecting another outcome as insane people do 🙂 and it was recognised, set up was taking ages (left it on over night) but don`t care as it works now. Thanky everyone for your help and kind regards
