Just would like some advice.

Now first I know that the sleep score section and how long you stay asleep isn't always right since it counts even just changing positions as being awake. Now I used to get 7 to 8 hours asleep on average each week. At least a few times it would be 8 hours and most would be 7 hours Of course I had a few times be 5 to 6 hours. However, lately it has been more of the 5 to 6 hours and less of the 7 to 8 hours. What happens is I'll go to sleep I think rather fast and no matter what time I fall asleep I end up waking up about 4 to 5 hours later. It will take me a fair bit of time to get back to sleep (Like 20 or 25 minutes according to the sleep thing on fitbit.) Once I go back to sleep I wake every 20 to 30 minutes and am awake for three to five minutes or so.

These are my main problems.

1.) I get bad anxiety when being in the dark (I'm fine if it is like daylight outside and I am in a dark place like movie theater or something it just night time is the problem) So, I have to have some light source. Not a bright light source just a dim one.

2.) I need a form of white noise. What I usually end up doing is turning my TV's brightness down and picking something random on a very low volume. My TV is set on a timer to first go to a screensaver after a few hours and then turn off after another few hours. (This way it isn't on all night.) Considering I am waking about 4 to 5 hours later then it is usually on screensaver.

3.) I make sure to cut off any soda drinking at least three hours or so before going to bed and all my workout activities are in the morning from 10 am to about 3 pm. So, I not working out before bed.

Now I have read many things online to try. But what I want is to hear about things you all went through just to give me a better idea.

Oh and my sleep problems started around the time of when the clocks went back an hour.

How about buying a white noise machine.  I see some on Amazon for $20-25 with adjustable night lights.  I used to use a white noise machine to help cover up outside noises, and got used to it easily, though I live in a very quiet area now.  If you ever travel, you can easily take it with you and have the same sound and light you are used to wherever you go.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

My sister also bought a special white noise machine and now sleeps better. Half an hour of sports per day also helps to feel better during sleep. Of course, she began to follow the specialist's advice after redlands community hospital customer service. It had a good effect on her and her sleep really became much better. I am very happy for her
