More changes to the sleep detection algorithm?

So I know over the past couple months people have noted that the changes to sleep tracking mean its showing more awake time than it used to. For the past couple of weeks for me however it has suddenly decided that I am sleeping in an afternoon/evening most days. It didn't used to during the same type of downtime. Is this yet another tweek?

Oh, and I can't delete incorrect sleep. I delete it but next time my device syncs it is back.

Hello @kevanjosh

I've noticed that I'm also seeing more "naps" in my app lately. One was from sitting in the dentist chair and most recently attending a 3.5 hour meeting.

I've also seen at least one other user report that deleting the erroneous "sleep/nap" log isn't working correctly and the additional sleep log returns.

For now, please submit this issue using the Feedback option in the Fitbit app:

  • Tap your avatar in the upper right of the Today page in the Fitbit app
  • Tap Feedback in the menu that opens
  • Complete the prompt and submit

Although it's likely that you won't get a response, we've gotten confirmation that the team reviews every submitted feedback report and uses the information for issue investigation.
