Not understanding sleep tracking

ANSWERED

I'm a new user and have had my Fitbit Ionic for five days now. I'm not understanding how sleep tracking works AT ALL.

For example, yesterday Fitbit has two sleep entries for the same day. 12-1 AM, and then 1 AM-7 AM, so it's showing 1 hour of sleep and then 6 hours of sleep. I want it to be a single contiguous block of 7 hours. How do I manually edit this?

Also, last night, Fitbit reported 2 hours and 30 minutes of sleep when I slept a full 8 hours and I mean SLEPT.

That sounds a bit weird! Id suggezt you try restarting the Ionic a rew times and see if that gives you better records in future.
