Do you even read the comments from your community?
Every update Google has made has been terrible. Why do you keep moving forward with these updates knowing your community will not like it? These are just horrible. It’s really making me wanna leave. I used to love Fitbit. It was perfect before.

I'm with you re the sleep app. Bought my Charge 5 Jan 2023 and immediately was THRILLED to see what it could do...and over time it helped me improve my sleep...a LOT. Now it's simply discouraging to look at the sloppy sleep app. Can't go the Apple route bc I have an Android. But Premium is no longer worth it to me. Sad. Also sad no one's gotten any responses from customer service/monitor. Bad look.

What I use now to track my sleep. It's free or you can subscribe. Bit busy UI...but hey...it's free...and it works with a lot of different trackers along with Fitbit.

Do they have an Apple iPhone? I don't know. I am a very poor man and only use Android. Please light a candle for me.TIA

Not going back to Fitbit.  Update debacle after update debacle.

I hate the new design and have commented on the other thread.

Did you redesign today's sleep score away too?

I, like 99% of the commentors here, am astounded that a Google UX design team could launch this unusable mess that also manages to irritate everyone. No one listens or reacts from the company. It’s “better” because now we can track time. Great. Too bad we had to make all other use cases harder to read.
I have cancelled premium and now am looking for new tracker.
Can anyone who has done the research save me the time and share their top 2-3 replacement models from other brands? I don’t want an Apple Watch. Just a sleep and fitness tracker with long battery life.  Thanks!!!

Don’t like it one bit. Not sure why you keep changing things in such a world of constant change. My mother is 78 and uses Fitbit but her brain can’t keep up with all your changes and I’m 53 and either can I. I think the new sleep is colourless and boring and rather than you saying it’s easier to navigate I don’t believe it is. It used to be easier to tell your sleep at a glance is you had short or long REM/deep. Hate it!

Can anyone recommend a fitness/sleep tracker model from another brand that is usable? Looking for long battery life (and don’t want an Apple Watch). Thanks.

I much prefer the previous version of the SLEEP interface. You used to be able to see how long you were awake (in minutes) during any interval. Also the Oxygen content display was more informative.

PLEASE roll back to previous version.

Wow, the new sleep chart is horrible. Having to touch/click/highlight an area on the graph to obtain the detail whereas on the old chart I only had to look! Thanks for making this much less useful. I suspect this change was targeted at "premium" users, or to get users to purchase premium. Did your product managers do any research with actual users before making this change? Based on the feedback I'm seeing here, many are not happy with the new look and I would really like to be able to switch back. The new look is useless to me.

Particularly annoying that Fitbit Moderator's post ASKed for our feedback. We've been giving it. Crickets.

I believe it's just A.I. not a real person.

I called their customer service number which can easily be found with a Goggle search. They do not allow the number to be posted here!

I got through to a representative right away, registered my complaint, and requested that they switch back to the previous appearance for the sleep tracking. He said they would take note of the complaint. I suggest everyone else here do likewise. I do not think that they are monitoring our posts here.

Terrible update, so much harder to read at a glance. I don't understand why the Fitbit experience keeps getting made worse, it's like Google is trying to kill the product. Next time I buy a fitness watch it won't be Fitbit.

Best Answer

I despise this update. Graphically it is difficult to understand your data at a glance. Previously existing features seem watered down or hidden behind a pay wall. Please please please revert this update.

Best Answer

Have to say how much I HATE the new sleep formatting.

It is NOT easier or clearer, rather it's confusing. Please revert to the previous setup. I used to proudly show off the fitbit sleep info to all my Apple user friends, but now, there is no way I will be showing them this jumble of dots, words, lines etc. Benchmark for people my age is no longer easily comparable to the night's sleep. Bring back the previous design!

I REALLY dislike the “improvements”. It is so much harder to read, very busy, and overall a major step back for me. The sleep section was really fun for me before - now I don’t even want to look at it. Please change it back 🙏 I’m thinking about alternatives if this is the direction Fitbit is going in.

Best Answer

I resent this very much. I personally like change and improving things that actually need improvement. This is not an improvement. Fitbit will probably lose a 7-year customer with “improvements” like this ruining a previously fantastic user interface. There are better options out there now.

Love this…KISS 😂
