Hi everyone! Starting today, you may notice a new sleep experience in your Fitbit app. If you don't have it right away, please be patient as it can take some time to reach all users.
Check out what’s new by going to the Fitbit Community blog.
What do you think? Let us know!

I haven't found a response yet. And we're probably not going to get one as the Fitbit customer service has nothing to do with the app updates

I've noticed though, if you do not sync your Fitbit watch with the app, the time will not continue to be accurate on your watch

I absolutely agree!! The new graphic sucks!

Big big NO for the new sleep graphic 👎🏻 Hard to read. Like others have said why change something that isn’t broken! It was perfect the way it was before this change. Now it’s pretty much useless.

RebeccaFitbit -- this is a TERRIBLE design! The old design was perfect and did not receive the cognitive load that it requires now. I have dropped by subscription completely because HOW TERRIBLE the design is.

The new sleep experience is not a good change. It lacks the colour, design and elegance of the previous one. The use of numbers, dotted lines and linear style information looks like it was created by bookeepers rather than artists. Surely the measure of a good graphic user interface must be its ability to provide the maximum useful information in the quickest and most appealing way. The new sleep experience telepgraphs the message that I better make more time to figure out what I need to know from the former app. The fact that Google and Fitbit rolled this out with such obvious shortcomings is a worry. They must lack talent on the development side to make such an error.
Of all the information I gather from my Versa 2, the sleep analysis was always of the greatest interest to me. Getting a good sleep is an imortant part of staying healthy, especially as you age. Deep sleep in particular holds the promise of rebuilding the body naturally through rest. The previous Fitbit sleep app was an exceptional piece of design and functionality. I can only hope that Fitbit will give their users the option to choose which version of the sleep app they prefer. I'm surprised the company wouldn't have found out user preference by beta testing through focus groups rather than just releasing this disappointing change.
Perhaps if Fitbit and Google lack an appreciation of what they've done to their users sleep experience, I suggest they hire some people from Apple that have been involved with their Smart Watch design group. Sadly after years with Fitbit I am now thinking of seriously of moving to an Apple health device just to get something that more resembles my former Fitbit sleep app.

Sorry but I hate it ! Why change what was perfect as it was. First you got rid of my favorite which was the challenges now the sleep visuals are horrible. Thinking of getting rid of it and looking for something better although I have a Google watch. Wondering if you are purposely ruining Fitbit ?

Does anyone know how to turn off the email feeds to notices please? I’m getting a copy of everyone’s comments and responses on this noticeboard sent to my email account ☹️

I think that Fitbit sucks big time. Are you not reading the comments from the community? We hate everything you are doing, and are actively planning our best exit strategy.

What is the sleep tracking like on an Apple Watch? Is is similar to the pre-update Fitbit tracking?

Hey Fitbit, how about a video with instructions on how to best use this new sleep feature? I am also older and find it really busy looking...

I think it’s really similar and my friends who have them love it but you need an iPhone and I prefer an android 🤷:female_sign:

I don't like it at all. What happened to the "begin sleep" choice? I used it every night and now it is gone.
