I dont like it at all.  It’s just bland looking.   Can’t find the weekly average that showed on the older one.   Defo not as appealing as  older one.   Harder to work out

It’s so awful! I thought it was a glitch as the graphic is so ugly. No idea why the change was necessary as I seem to get less info from it than before.

Thanks for sharing your alternative to the Fitbit. I returned my Charge 5 twice within warranty for black screens and failed batteries. Now the rubbish sleep redesign. So annoying the claim they made it easier to use. Two weeks later I can only see people comment on how bad it is. Design team should admit they failed badly and go back to the way it was. Hello design team. Are you listening?

I found my way to this page because I was searching to see if others dislike the new design as much as I do.  It’s really the graphics that bother me.  Much harder to see visualize what’s going on.  I like the intent of the new design and the navigation is okay but the graphics are much harder to read against a white background. They are busier and look cluttered and harder to read. Bar graph lines have a rounded end, which makes it seem as if I am seeing a soft estimation rather than a precise data point and that makes it seem harder to see trends. A few graphic tweaks and it should be fine. I don’t have a premium subscription.  I have a versa 2 that provides a sleep dashboard with most features.

Please bring back the function that allows me to scroll all weeks of sleep, give the average for each week, and most importantly allow me to see when I went to sleep and woke up each day in the week view. , that's more important than a score. Thank you!

Don’t like it at all.  The old layout was simple to read, which made it enjoyable.  First thing I checked in the morning.  Now I avoid it, not a happy 8 year user.

I do not like the new user interface! AT ALL. When you change things I wish you would offer the opportunity to stick with an old dashboard or previous version. This one doesn't offer the same detail as the last sleep dashboard did. I miss seeing the percentages, especially now in the 30-day report it's just a black dot which doesn't give you helpful information at all --

there's no number assigned to it, you have to generally guess the numbers. It's also harder to read I don't like the new colors. I'm not opposed to change or upgrades but this one isn't an improvement. Thank you for the opportunity to comment.

I greatly preferred the previous sleep experience - especially the lack of heart rate and oxygen charts and the way in which time and stages are shown.

Do not like the timeline change AT ALL!  It is confusing and definitely not an improvement.  Is there way to go back to the old timeline?  This was definitely not an improvement!

Since I posted the other day Dan, there have been hundreds more posts. Every single one I have read so far does not like the new update. There is more than one person that wants to throw their watch in the garbage or return it like I am going to do. Others are looking at different trackers to purchase. And Rebecca, has not had a **ahem** response! Personally, I don't think Google is going to do squat about this update because Google is so big, I don't think they think they need to listen to their customers!

Thank you. Since I'm returning my Fitbit Versa 4, I will be searching info on the watch you recommend.

My husband and I absolutely HATE THE NEW LOOK!!! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 It is much harder to read, and looks like crap!!!  If it isn't changed back, I will get rid of our watches!!!!!!!

Apparently you all screwed up. NO ONE LIKES THE NEW SLEEP APP!!! CHANGE IT BACK!!!!! Amd next time, ASK YOUR USERS ABOUT CHANGES!!!! We will give you honest answers.

I do not care for the new layout at all!!!

Having to log into a dashboard kind of defeats the purpose of the app on the phone.

Like everyone else who has posted, I hate the new graphics. Much harder to read.  Biggest issue for me is how to find the benchmarks in the IOS version. I find the page and the teeny note that says it shows what’s typical with a shaded area, but I don’t see any shading. Frankly, it was one of the few areas where Fitbit was superior to other trackers.

It's made everything much, much more difficult to read, and the information is less accessible. I hate it, very poor design. I'm considering changing from fitbit and also quitting my premium subscription, I am just so annoyed and it's completely taking the fun out of checking my data. Please undo!!!

JUST SENT THIS MESSAGE TO FITBIT:

Over 800 people have now commented on the new update by Google for the Fitbit watches and barely one of them like or agree with the update especially when it comes to the sleep info. The majority of us have also noted that you have not responded to many complaints. Is there a reason for this? It is such a shame that Google does not listen to people who have owned fitbits for years. And many of them now are going to change to a different watch other than Fitbit. I am returning my Versa 4 because I am beyond disappointed with the new app update. You used to be able to go from awake to light to REM to deep by just swiping left. You could also just tap on certain areas to see exactly how much time you were awake and what time you were awake from and to. I get that you can move the line in the graph but as soon as you move your finger, it disappears unlike the previous graph. If Google does not revert back to the original sleep graph, I can see many of your customers going elsewhere.
