It would be wonderful if fitbit would respond to us! As nobody seems to be enjoying this new modification.

Does that mean the community fitbit is actually reading our input! Hope so and they go back to original sleep program.

The sleep function worked ok before the update. Not perfect, but the problems were that I sleep in 2, sometimes 3, segments a night, often go to the bathroom once or twice during the night, and sleep with 4 large dogs that move around such that the Fitbit reads the movement as my being awake. All on me! After the update, the sleep data was useless. Segments over 3 hrs were missed that previously were picked up. I couldn't even tell on which day an over 3 hr segment that ended before midnight occured.

I now wear the Fitbit only when cycling, where it remains useful, though Google removed a feature where I could get my heart rate at a particular point on the GPS-produced map of my ride. Oddly, my sleep improved the first night after sleeping without the Fitbit and has remained good for the week or so that I've quit wearing my Charge 5 at night. It's not that the Charge 5 was uncomfortable; I don't even know when I have it on. I guess that unconsciously I was stressing over trying to hit at least 3 hrs per segment, so as to get an HRV reading. Again, on me! But maybe segmented sleepers should take off the Fitbit at night and see how they sleep. So, it's weird, but maybe the new sleep update has been a good thing for me!!

Thanks luvb2 that works! Not as good as the app but much better than this awful upgrade that noone from Fitbit moderators are bothering to address.

Andie it would be nice but it doesn't seem to be happening! It seems they don't really care what we think of it! The original post from Rebecca even said, what do you think of it? Let us know. I am definitely looking at other smart watches now!

When I click on the sleep score all I get is text explaining the score, not the breakdown you show above.

It is too difficult to read. I find it useless. How can I access the previous version.

So far there are 1242 responses and only 28 likes to the notice about the change in the tracker (that is 2% but I suspect it is even lower) NOONE likes the new tracker. PLEASE care about what your users want and CHANGE it back.

Of course they aren't going to go back!!
They are only supporting fitbit til 2025.
If anything, they can take comfort in the loss if, or discomfort of fitbit
users...but that's in the rearview mirror..
Onward and upwards for Google, the plan all along.

I agree with you completely! I’m a new widow and I used to use the sleep info to judge if my meds are helping me at night, but it makes my eyes hurt to look at it…very unhappy it changed. 😞

It still doesn’t look the same as the old display

Sorry, absolutely hate the new Display particularly the Sleep Data. It's difficult to read & not user friendly. The last one wasn't great either.

Please return to view from about a year ago!

The new sleep tracker sucks! It’s hard to read. I’ve had a Fitbit Charge since 2017. It was easy to track sleep and now it’s not. I’m very unhappy with the change. Google screws everything up. I might have to finally switch to an Apple Watch.

I’m with you. This sucks! I’m not happy.

I don’t want Google’s insight. I want stats. It’s not about what Google wants. It’s about what the users want. Just like Google to force us into what they think we need.

Same here!

I completely agree with this! I can’t stand the new layout. I wish I could revert back to the old look!!

This really wasn't a good update. Overwriting with graphs makes it very difficult to read. Also the complete gallery of meditations has disappeared. It was great using different ones to get to sleep.  I am really disappointed with it now.
