Hi everyone! Starting today, you may notice a new sleep experience in your Fitbit app. If you don't have it right away, please be patient as it can take some time to reach all users.
Check out what’s new by going to the Fitbit Community blog.

Wow! Fantastic! How DID you find that? That is great, now I can go see the data the way I like to see it! Thank you so much for posting this information!
Okay, I had to come back and edit this. I've lost some of my excitement. Even though you can get to graphs that look the same, you can't click on them and get the times for each segment. It's just a static picture of the graph.

The "New" sleep version is terrible. I have sleep issues and am being treated by a doctor for it. Many Many people use their Fitbits to track their sleep cycles on a daily basis. Used to be that the information was right there, below the step numbers. Within a short time of rising each day I had the information I needed. and could inform my physician. Now it is gone and has not been replaced. I like many other people I will have to give up my Fitbit and get an Apple Watch or some other device. Also, your support people do not know anything about all of this. I have spoken to three support personnel in the the last few days, for one hour each time, and the only thing they told me was that my Luxe must be broken and that I should get another one. Anyone who used the old version on a regular basis needs the old version. Fitbit has really screwed up this time!

I must get the impression that the designers didn't care about the users opinions. There have been many telling you to change to the better original design. Do you want us to change to another product because you don't care about user opinions?
There's a tiny bit improvement but all over the new design is still awful, not good to read and doesn't reach the former colourful, easy to read and informative design. Why can't we still see the whole timeline? It's a guessing game now. I'm a bit confused also that the tracking seems mistaken. When I get up at night, it's not seen...

Horrible! Please bring the old graph back. The new one is unreadable and does not make any sense to me at all.

It's not giving me what I need. BTW, did everyone lose their sleep score in this new "experience" or just me?

Like others, with the new version of sleep tracking, I am losing tracking after I get up in the night. I thought it was just me. My app and device are current versions, but it does not track the full night when there is a disruption of more than a minute or two. It is like it thinks I got up for the day. For example, last night I got up a 4:45 am to take cough medicine and then fell back asleep until almost 9 am, so there should have been at least two more hours to get tracking recorded. There is something that needs to be changed. The app loses value when it fails to track as advertised.

I gave the updated sleep tracking a chance for several months and I don’t like it. The daily sleep graph showing all the data at-a-glance has been omitted. Google fixed something that wasn’t broken in addition to creating an interface that is not user friendly.
I’m disgusted that this company is not listening to the users’ desires and complaints.

@SunsetRunner Sounds like you work for Google.
It’s not about disliking change because it’s something new; it’s about changing data output that the majority of users liked.

@Pam722 I made that same comment to him weeks ago and now can longer see him. He couldn't praise the new design enough. He IS a programmer. Put two and two together.

No Dan, the new update sucks and has much less detailed sleep data. No amount of thins is going to fix that. They never should have changed it. I doubt anyone was complaining about having great data that you could see your sleep trends with. Last night I slept for 1 hr and 47 minutes and my sleep score said Good 61. How is THAT a good night’s sleep for anyone?

Today, after the update, I had only slept 1 hr 45 min and my sleep score was listed as 61 and “Good” ! How is that Good?!?! They didn’t just ruin a great sleep tracking function with this update they also ruined any way to see a comparison from previous nights to be able to figure out how sleep patterns were changing historically!

I initially complained about the new graphics on my fitbit, but as I have gotten used to it, I see I'm getting the same data as before and even more details. Consider my complaint retracted. The problem with we humans is whether we want to admit it or not, we just balk at change. I'm including myself in that statement. I hate it when the grocery store decides to change what shelves items are on. It seems I wander aimlessly trying to find my usual purchases! 😂
