I rely heavily on Fitbit to track my sleep, but lately, this health app is making me feel anything but healthy due to its instability. I am using Charge 6, but the main problem is in the app and algorithm.
Since updating to version 4.28.3, my night sleep log has gone haywire again, just like before:
I first ran into this issue with version 4.27 something, which was temporarily fixed in 4.28.1, but now it’s back with the latest update. It’s so frustrating!
Throughout October, I dealt with the same problem, where my sleep logs showed up empty for days because I had to delete the data. So this wasn’t a one-off issue—it dragged on for days. Google support was no help at all when I reached out for a solution.
As a new user, I'm extremely disappointed with everything about Fitbit’s products and services. It feels like using a buggy, unstable beta app from a small startup—not something made by Google.
Anyone else facing the same problem? 😞

I have the same issue here. When I refresh the Fitbit app to see the latest steps in calories and etc. Sleep and readiness does not come up automatically. I have to go into each category click on week view and then it populate and then I can go back to the main landing area and then see that magically my sleep, and readiness appears there. But if you just refresh it comes up as no data. And it started this about two weeks ago after a software update.
