My sleeping heart rate is higher than resting. I think when the two are very different, sleep quality is diminished.
Like last night, sleeping heart rate was 55 and resting is 47. Is that a warning of something?
My resting is usually 55 to 60. For last couple of months, it’s been in 40s and I am awaiting a cardiologist appt to check it out.
But the sleeping vs resting— is it a problem?

Hello @yutagg
Your question is best discussed with your healthcare provider & you already have an appointment. So, you're doing it right.
For what it's worth, my sleeping heart rate is occasionally higher than my resting heart rate. I don't think my sleep quality is diminished when that happens. At least it doesn't feel like that to me. When I had my physical earlier this year, my doctor said I was doing fine.
It will be interesting to hear what the cardiologist has to say in your case.
