A concern about the heart rate sensor.

Today noon, I took off my watch to take a bath. We I finished, I found my watch on the desk with the heart rate sensor directly exposed to strong sunlight for more than half an hour.

Does strong sunlight do any hurt to the heart rate sensor? Is there any technical article or experiment about strong sunlight and its impact/hurt on the heart rate sensor?

I use Fitbit Surge.

Thank you,
Trol

Welcome to the Community @PatrickTrolSmiley Very Happy I hope that your Fitbit Surge is ok. I found this articles about "Product wear and Care", where you can find a lot tips.

The actually senser that looks at your heart rate is a camera, i don't think tje sunlight should bother it, at least no more then the camera in your phone. .
