Why can't I add notes to my alarms if I have to remind myself to do things during the day on my Surge? Shouldn't there be a functionality for that? What's the use if only the alarm is going to go off?

I think you are expecting a bit too much from what is intended as a fitness tracker rather than a smart watch. Can I suggest that you post this request on the features suggestion forum - Fitbit gurus are always looking for good ideas.

Hi there @jk_waks, I think the only feature that resemblance your request, available at the moment are the Calendar Notifications. Although this feature is not available for the Fitbit Surge. The trackers capable of this are the Alta, Blaze and our newest Charge 2.

 

Otherwise it will be good to post this suggestion on our Feature Suggestion board as @Hilary55 mentioned before. I found an idea which is kind of similar and perhaps is of your interest: Reminder Feature. You can vote for this idea and add your comments. Our product team looks forward to reading and incorporating your suggestions into future versions of Fitbit trackers and apps.
