Android Application not allowing to login to FitBit account

I got the replacement surge sometime back and started using it. For a day it worked fine after that it gave sync error, so I unpaired it and tried to pair the same again. Didn't work. I uninstalled the application from my mobile phone and then reinstalled the new application again. After reinstalling application, I am not able to login, it always says invalid username or password.

 

Whereas I am able to use the same username and password on the website on my laptop and am able to successfully login to my account.

 

Please let me know what could be wrong with the application on the phone and will I be able to make it work again. If not, I will go with Samsung Gear watch.
