Automatic walk?

I noticed a few months ago my surge started automatically recording my daily dog walks as a walk activity. I didn't initiate it, it just shows up in my activity list. I don't want this as its a low speed thing and I only want to track my specific fitness walks. I have just been deleting the unwanted entries, but its annoying. When did this become a feature and is there any way to turn it off?

@SunsetRunner That is the new SmartTrack feature. You can disable it on the website here. Down in the Automatically Recognized Exercises area set each one to "Ignored" then sync your tracker for it to take effect.

You can also disable it in the app. For Android, tap the Exercise tile then the gear icon top right of screen. For each exercise listed tap the slider to Off then tap Save. When done, sync.
