Guaranteed to break or malfunction within a year! I expect a watch that cost 200 dollars to last longer. Please continue to mess over loyal customers. I have purchased several because its a necessity, but competition has caught up to fitbit. There are better products, I will not be buying anymore of your items. I have had four Fitbits in the last 4 years. I'm done!!!

@Chris0001 I'm sorry you've had problems with your various Fitbit devices. For me, my only problem since September 2013 has been when my original Flex died after nearly two years.
These devices come with a 365 day warranty (in the USA) and now we can buy the extended warranty.
If you have problems, often customer support and this community can help you out. Why not give it a try?

All the fitbits I have and the 15 relatives are still working .
My surge was acquired within a month of its release and still going strong .

All mine have lasted way beyond a year.
My surge just died. May it RIP after 3 years. Was in perfect condition as well.
