Band Bubbling

My Surge is starting to bubble below the screen. This is my third Fitbit and the warranty is over. The first Surge I had bubbled in the same spot and the second just stopped working. I was just wondering why the band keeps bubbling in the same spot? I keep my Surge from all water(except washing my hands) and major heat sources(I.e. space heaters, heat ducts, radiators)
