When I bought my surge in december 2016 the battery was empty within 5-6 days. Now it must be recharged after 2-3 days. No light on, no GPS, no constant synching ? What can I change to made it last for a week !!

Halo @henkd thanks for stopping by! A warm welcome to the Fitbit Community. Have you tried the tips in this post? I would also try to restart your Fitbit Surge, in case that it is a hardware issue, it might help!
