Battery issues after latest version is installed

Empty battery warning sign is continuously appearing on my Fitbit surge since I installed new Fitbit version last week. I also observed the full battery charge is draining out after one day of usage with empty battery warning sign appearing on my watch. Can I fix this.....help required.....Thanks

It might be that the firmware update for your Surge didn't go through completely, so please follow these steps to unpair and pair your tracker again; since by doing this your Fitbit will try to download it one more time. Also check the tips to clean your Fitbit contacts and take care of the battery life of your tracker. It might help!
