Hi, I don't know any other way to contact fitbit about the beta group for the large amount of customers that have a fit it that doesn't work. They seem to have closed the forum since there are no posts since middle of December and my posts don't get posted. I have tried to mail but I don't get any answer. Is the beta group still active or have you completly abandoned your customers? And HTC one m8 is still listed as compatible phone . Please answer here at least.

@osten Welcome to the Fitbit Community! Can you give me more details about the issue you are experiencing with your Fitbit? Also, you can contact customer support via phone or chat too.

Keep me posted! Smiley Happy

I still get no contact with beta group. Customer service tell me to keep in touch with the beta group. Over a year since release and still no fix for this and now they have stopped responding and no compensation or taking the product back. Fantastic customer care

When you say "no fix for this", what problem is "this" refferring to?

Postings to the google beta group must be done over in the google group, not on fitbit.

If the beta group is currently addressing the problem you are encountering than it could help to join, otherwise it probably wont be of much use.

I am in the beta group but it's not possible to post in that forum anymore and they don't answer mail. This is not a problem just for me. They seem to have stopped any communication.

I was able to add a post, and noticed that to prevent spamming, posts now have to be a proved.

Yes, it says the same to me. I been waiting for 10 posts to be approved. In the last one, 5 days ago, I just asked if there are any updates at all since the forum is dead. It can hardly count as spamming. Your post isn't visible yet either. It will be interesting to see if your post will be approved any time soon.

They must understand we are getting frustrated having paid this amount of money and recieved a simple activityband. It has been a year now. It's really not acceptable to stop communicating with affected customers.

Yes the term they says a lot in thst most likely they do not spend much of any time on these forums. Outside of the google beta i have no idea on how to contact them.

Im still not sure what the problem is that you are experiancing

I know they might not be here but this is the only way to at least get some kind of acknoleldgement from fit it and hopefully a warning how fitbit treat their customers.

And they are definitely not on that forum either. Some kind of information if they given up the tries and what compensation we will receive or if they will speak to the retailers to accept a faulty device and give money back.

There seems to be some super of problem that is being hinted too, I'm not site what it might be,. As for the over all design of the Surge i have not noticed any problems over the 12 months of ownership.

I'm trying to be as clear as I can. Since release a lot of people have not been able to get notifications about calls or sms on their phones. They haven't been able to solve it even now, a year after release. HTC one m8 still is listed as compatible even though it doesn't work for many people. It's not even mentioned anywhere.

The only change they managed to make is that they mad the watch last for barely a day.

Its not a super problem but it's far from what I paid for. I should be allowed to return it at the vendor but I'm not. Fitbit must contact them for them to do that.

And now they cease all the communication so we have no idea what is going on anymore.

I'm happy you are pleased with your device but I think you been a bit frustrated if you been in our shoes.

Hi,

There are still nothing posted either from me or you or any other user on the forum. I think they just stopped any user posting on the forum. Its more like a blog now where they sporadically post updates. They did post yesterday for the first time in a month. Still not a word about notifications though. Its like they stick their head in the sand and hope we just get tired of wanting to have a device working as promised. Really amazed of the appalling customer care such a reputable company have.
