Hi there, I was a Bodybugg loyalist and was forced over to Fitbit because it was discontinued. I purchased the Surge and am so frustrated trying to get my calorie deficit number throughout the day. I just want simple math...My calories I've burned during the day versus calories I've logged throughout the day. I have a 500 calorie deficit I need to attain each day to get to my goal. I know I can calculate it myself from the "Under" window, but that's incovenient, and I can't select date ranges to view my deficit. All the other information on the dashboard means nothing to me with getting that number.
In addition, I'd like to be able to pull up any date range, for example the last 7 days, or 10 days, or month, and see what calorie deficit I'm collecting. It would be amazing to be able to view this on my surge. I could care less about floors or steps because it's irrelevant if activity is not viewed in conjunction with calories I've consumed. Is there any plan for this?
Also, I'm attaching some screen shots from Bodymedia's dashboard to show how cleanly they organize their data. They give you a clear snapshot, then you can expand each element to view in detail and manipulate data (including setting date ranges to view). Hope this helps. Would love to see some of this implemented.

Welcome to the forums @thephoenix and thank you for the information provided, I'll make sure to pass this along.
While I wasn't a Bodybugg user, I am a MyFitnessPal user and some of the logs and stats are similar to the ones presented on your screenshots. They have users all over the world and a huge database, including barcode scanner and recipe builder.
They are supported both through a computer as well as through most Smartphones. You can get more information on this page.
Let me know if you have any questions, good luck!

@thephoenix well I agree with you and I don't have the perfect solution for you but anyway...check out a program called Loseit! (Web, Android, IOS). While I have used myfitneespal for over a year now I have been playing with Lose for about a month now. On the opening screen in Android you get what you want kinda. Its based on a week starting Monday and then starts all over again. It will give you a quick peek at the previous 4 weeks as well which is nice.
