Welcome aboard @Megandhi, good to see you here. The only stat that will start counting right after midnight are your calories. The total calories burn you are seeing is the result of both the steps you've taken in a day, as well as your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR).
The number of calories that you see on your tracker when you wake up in the morning is your estimated calorie burn for the day so far. You still burn calories even if you have been sedentary or were sleeping. We estimate your calorie burn based on your age, gender, height and weight.
