Can I charge my Surge while using it? Assuming I am still moving but I am not tracking it for HR, can I still charge it and track the distance and time covered?
THANX.

Hi, @missyblurkit , no. Your Surge will not count steps while it is charging.

THANX for the reply.
So when you say "won't count steps" it also means it does not calculate the distance as well? THANX.

I don't think any of its functions will work while it is charging. But I haven't actually tried. You could give it a go and let us know... Also, I am not sure which, if any portable chargers it will work with, but if you have one that works that would be interesting information too.

I tried charging it while I was using it over the weekend. Of course it only tracked the distance.
The only difficulty is to ensure that the charge cable does not detach itself from the Surge as there is bound to be a bounce while running with it in the bag.
