Cant sync or access anything on my fitbit except run

My fitbit surge has suddenly stopped syncing with the app on my mobile. Also, while i can still set run on my fitbit and swipe between screens i cannot do anything else. I have tried turning it off then on. Also the battery life seems tohave reduced significantly recently.

Try a restart. Sometimes doing it a few times helps.
