When charging surge it vibrates every now and again. Why? How do I stop it doing this?

When you plug in your Surge, it should vibrate once, even if it is fully charged or not. But it shouldn't keep vibrating. So if that is the case, please try to restart your Surge by following the instructions I previously posted @LindsayJ.

hI @LindsayJ How are you doin'? So, let me see if I understood. It seems that you are trying to charge your Surge but it is vibrating and it won't stop, right? If that is the case, let me suggest you to take a look of the instructions on this post to restart your tracker.

Hope that works! Woman Wink

No - I plug it in to a usb to charge it and it vibrates every now and again. I thought it might be telling me that it was fully charged but it does it as soon as I start charging??

How are you doing @Ronny9969? there is a loose in the charging cable of your Surge, so I suggest you to contact Fitbit Support directly, so they can take a look of your warranty and choose the best option for you. .

Lets face it, the connection between the charging cable and the Surge leaves alot to be desired. It is just not that secure of a connection. I feel like your vibrating problem is caused by the connection being loose enough to be lost and then re-established, hence the occassional re-vibration. Mine does this periodically also unless I turn the Surge at just the right angle or prop it up just right, etc.... It's a pain, they need to re-engineer the charging port connection.

Of course I could be completely wrong and it could be something else - just my best guess.

Hey hey hey @etc22, it's nice to see you around the Community! Oh! this sounds pretty bad. There is definitely a loose with the connection between your Surge and the charging cable and there is nothing that I can suggest you to fix it. So, in this case is better if you get in touch with Fitbit Support directly so they can take a look into your account and choose the best option to get you back on track. Smiley Wink
