Counting steps

My surge is way over stating steps. I wake up in the morning with over 100 steps while I sleep. Walking is almost double. Have tried non dominate with dominate setting and vice versa. Help with ideas.

Try resetting the surge by holding in the left and bottom right buttons together for around 15 seconds or until the screen starts to fade. Wait until it's completely off leave it for 10 seconds then press the left button for it to turn back on. Maybe reset a couple of times. If that doesn't work contact support. I had the opposite problem, mine wasn't counting steps!

Welcome @Campdog1961! Besides @Redmoonstar's advice, you also need to considerate if you're leaving your tracker nearby a device that vibrates. These movements may be interpreted by your Surge as steps. A/C or a fan maybe? You can also change your sleep setting and switch from sensitive to normal.

Keep me posted!
