Creating a challenge for activity group page friends

When I first got the Surge at Christmas I added friends from FB and we've been doing challenges fine. 

Just this weekend I created my own activity group page for people who take Norwegian Cruises. I've got about 20 people joined to that page and I invited them all as friends so I can do challenges with them (10 at a time, I know).

I can see the few people, maybe 5 so far, that have accepted my friend request. But when I go to make a challenge they don't show up there as people that I can add to a challenge. I can still create challenges with my original FB friends but not with any of the new people I've added from my activity group page. Why is that?

It's been almost 24 hours since I've added the new people. This Surge syncs all the time, I don't know what's going on. Any advice is appreciated.

Hello there @sprasa03 and welcome to our community. As long your friends have accepted the request you sent they should appear on your friend list. As you know the challenges are only available on your app so make sure you have the latest version of the Fitbit app and try to log out from your Fitbit account and reboot your mobile device. Once you have done this, try again. If the issue persist please would you mind to share a screenshot of how it looks your app when you want to start a challenge and how it shows your friend list to investigate further.
