The data on my Surge did not automatically clear at midnight so today all the data is continuing to build on yesterday's data. Could this have anything to do with going on Daylight Savings Time?

Hi, @KCHIEFS, yes, it is quite likely that that had to do with DST. Hopefully everything is now back to normal.

Hi, @staceyi22, unfortunately the solution is to wait until midnight, when hopefully your data will reset to zero as normal.
Fotbit was expecting some temporary issues with steps due to the time change. It seems that the issues e erged a day later than they were expecting. However it is hopefully just for today. In the meantime, there is no system for resetting your steps to zero when they do not do it automatically.

Thanks for your answer Julia G.. Yes, my Surge reset itself at midnight (day after daylight savings). Everything is good now. Thanks again.

Hi everybody! Please receive a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community @KCHIEFS, @staceyi22 and @Danimn21! Thanks a million @Julia_G for the update.
As mention before, we expected some features might be affected during day 1 or 2 after Daylight Savings Time. You can check @CallieM's post, which has some troubleshooting steps on what you need to do in case that you're having any of those scenarios.
@staceyi22 and @Danimn21 please restart your Surge and let's keep an eye on your trackers tomorrow to see if this keeps happening!
I'll be around in case you need more help!

Well.. it didn't work.
In the night that we went to the summer hour, 2 of our 4 fitbit charge2's didn't reset at midnight.
A night later, mine said i slept for 1.5 hours only, which is nonsense, i slept like a log from 22 till 07:15....
So, there's till a lot of work for fitbit.
We've spend 149€ * 4 to ''have fun'' as a family.
But we can't give the fitbit's any other name than ''charge2'' which is confusing in the same household...
AND there's no syncing...

My surge did not reset its data twice this week. On 3/27/17 and today, 3/30/17, the steps count/miles were not reset. However, the stairs went to zero (I don't wear it surge at night). I don't think this has anything to do with DST. Lately it has been buzzing in the middle of the night, longer than the buzzing when I plug it in or remove it from the charger. About 6 or so seconds several times at night. I actually moved my charger outside the room. Not sure if this is coincidental to the nonreset issue but maybe related. Wish there was a way to get an error code or something from this surge when it does something like this.

My Fitbit did not reset all its data last night. It always has done before. I was not wearing it. I have tried shutting it off but that has not worked. We are already past the clicks going forward so it is not that. Any ideas?

Hi @Rhinogirl, @Mwende, @dmantab and @SallyMD! Thanks for sharing the issues you're having with your Fitbit trackers.
I'd advise you to restart you Fitbit tracker to prevent this happening again and keep an eye on your future stats. A few day ago we're expecting that some Charge 2, Flex 2, Alta and Alta HR users' stats will not reset at midnight on the night of 04/30 - the morning of 05/01. Few of them were reported.
This shouldn't affect other trackers, but in case you your tracker didn't reset on these days, it might be related. Anyhow, this shouldn't be a recurrent issue. So, if you're having issue this issue too often report it please.
Se you around!
