Hi, @BlueEyedinCA , it is expected behaviour for the stopwatch to start when you hold the button for 3 seconds! That is what it is meant to do. The button does NOT initiate a sync/ connection ... you need to do that via your app or computer (on the app it is dashboard --> choose your device --> scroll down to sync now. That should initiate a connection.On the computer it is on the opening screen of the Connect software.

Welcome @BlueEyedinCA! That's right @Julia_G, the only way to sync if from your Fitbit app. If you're having issues with that, I recommend making sure your tracker is properly set up. Here are the setup steps, you know just in case.
