I keep my surge in my gym bag, so I can use it to run, or go to gym or whenver I get chance to excersise! But any slight knock on the button & it turns it on, so time & again I get it out only to find the battery has gone flat. I've turned off Quick view & put it in a protective case - but what I'd really like, is if it would turn itself off if there's no heart rate/activity within 2 minutes! So frustrating to get to a workout & it's unusable! Anyone else got any clever ideas for users who don't wear the watch full time?

The Fitbit Surge can be turned off when you aren't using it:
"Press and hold the Home and Select buttons (left and bottom right) on your Fitbit Surge™ for 10 to 15 seconds, until you see the screen flash or start to dim. After your screen turns completely off, wait 10 seconds and press the Home button to turn your Surge back on."
I hope this helps. Welcome to the Community!
