I like the ability to watch my heart rate and elapsed time while I walk. For older guys like me who have had knee replacements, could you do a sub-routine for walking. I do not need GPS, as I walk known distances. I would just like time, elapsed time and heart reate on one screen. Thank you.

Hope you having a great day @cdrjoe, and welcome to the Community Forums! This sound like a really good suggestion. It's great to know that you're being active after what happened to your knee. Keep up with the good altitude and keep exercising. I'd love to see this option on the Surge, why don't you take a moment a create a suggestion in our Feature Suggestions board, where members of the Community can comment and vote for it so it can be implemented in a future update, this is the best way to make your voice heard.
In the mean time if you don't want to use the GPS option, try the "Workout" activity and later on you can just name the activity on your computer or on your mobile device (by going to "Track exercise" then clicking on "Workout" (you will find a litlle pen or an arrow pointing right) or you can keep using "Walk" activity option as well.
I hope to see you around in the Forums!
