Factory reset wipe Fitbit surge

Hi,

I've tried doing factory reset to my Fitbit surge but still unable to. I need to wipe everything to start again. Can someone please provide me the answers. Thanks in advance.

What are you trying to wipe?

If you mean you want to start again with Fitbit then you either need to create a new account with a different email address or get onto customer support and ask them to delete your existing account so you can re-use the email address with a new account.

Is there a reason that carrying on with what you have won't work for you?

I'm having the same issue, years later. The home button is completely dysfunctional and there are a couple other weird things happening with the OS.  I can't find a single thing on the whole of the interwebs that explains how to factory reset this little thing without the home button.
