Hey there!

Working in a restaurant is a lot of walking per day. So usually every day i'm in the fat burn zone for 5 hours or more.
Today i was in the fat burn zone for 12 hours.
My questions: am i actually still burning fat when in the zone for that long? Is it a risk to be in this zone for that long?

Thanks!

@Yvonne93 Welcome to the Fitbit Community! Yes, a higher percentage of calories are burned from fat even though the total calorie burn rate is lower. This zone is good, it is the low-to-medium intensity exercise zone and your heart is 50 to 69% of maximum. There is no risk to be in that zone for that long. Smiley Happy Fell free to check the Heart Rate FAQs for more details about the zoned and the heart rate monitoring in general.

Can you explain why sometimes my fitbit gives a low pulse reading (eg just now of 70) but shows the two bars of fat burn zone? Not during exercise.
