Whatever you use to sync your tracker with will indicate the availability of the update to you and walk you through the upgrade process.
I can't remember exactly what the symbol is, but on my phone it appears at the top of the screen next to the name of my tracker. It's something like an arrow in a big red circle - very hard to miss!

Hello there @Cirofee! As @MikeF mentioned you can find it on your app. Here are the instructions to check if there are firmware update available for your Surge. This is not only for Surge the same steps work for all the devices
1. Open the Fitbit app.
2. Tap your tracker name at the top of the app dashboard. You'll be taken to your tracker's device settings page.
3. If an update is available, the option Update Available will appear in pink toward the top of this screen.
4. Make sure your tracker remains near your iOS device while it updates. You can make your tracker easier to find by pressing its button to wake it up. When the update completes you'll see a confirmation message.
Good luck!
