Fit bit surge has wrong time zone

Hi, I am desperately trying to set up my husband's fitbit surge for him. We can't figure out why it keeps showing mountain time, when we have it as Eastern time. From what I read, it says we need to sync it, but honestly, I can not find the **ahem** sync button. We tried doing this through his ipad and now my MacBook Air. Don't know why it's so hard to find the **ahem** SYNC button. HELP PLEASE!

Hi, @RGEORGI , if your iPad is 3 or above (i.e. capable of syncing with Fitbit), on the iPad choose "Account" from the menu on the bottom.  On the next screen choose device ("Surge").  Scroll down until you see "Sync now".

Assuming Macbook is similar to PC, log out of Fitbit Connect, and when you open it again the first screen has the "sync" option. (I don't have a Mac, so am guessing a little here...)

Welcome to our Community @RGEORGI! If your timezone is still incorrect. You can try the following from your iOS:

1. Double tap the home button on your iOS device. Your open apps will show on your device's screen.
2. Close the Fitbit app by swiping the app image in an upward motion.
3. Open the Settings app from your iPhone home screen.
4. Tap "General."
5. Tap "Date & Time."
6. Ensure that "Set Automatically" is ON.
7. Reopen the Fitbit app. The issue should now be resolved

Once you perform this, you only need to refresh your page on your MacPro and the information will be updated.
