Welcome to the Fitbit Community @Neehar Smiley Very Happy! Let's try to fix this my friend.

  • In the Fitbit app go to "Devices", click on "Surge" text, NOT the sync on the right side of the screen.
  • Then click on "Call Notifications" text, NOT the "On/Off" toggle on the right of the screen.
  • Dialog appears with a message that the device has to be paired. Selected "OK" or "Set Up" on the dialog.

That should be it.  All paired and ready to run, walk or skip.

It's pretty much the same troubleshooting steps posted here

Hope that helps, don't lose the hope!

Hmmm... try these ones my friend @Neehar:

  1. Restart your tracker using the instructions in How do I restart my tracker?
  2. Try the setup process again.
  3. Reboot your mobile device (turn it off and then back on).
  4. Try setting up your tracker again.
  5. If you have access to a computer, try setting up with your computer using the computer instructions in How do I set up my tracker?
  6. If you can't set up with a computer, uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app and and try setting up your tracker again.

Let me know if this helps!
