Fitbit Surge Screen Scratched at first use

Some days ago I've bought a Fitbit surge. Yesterday is arrived. It's a really great product. I've set up that then I've used it for some minutes. Accidentally I've scratched the display going out the door, because I have crept my arm on the wall scratching the display at the left side. Not so much, but is scratched? What can I do? I did not think that was so easy scratching it. I'm really sad for that. In this case the warranty works? Thanks a lot and sorry for that.
P.S. ( i'm Italian and my English is not perfect, sorry)

Please don't apologise for your English. It's fine and certainly better than my Italian.

 

The terms of the warranty can be found at www.fitbit.com/returns

 

In there, one of the key exclusions is "to damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, flood, fire, earthquake or other external causes" so I don't think you will be covered. However, it will do no harm to contact customer support to see if they can help:
