My brand new Fitbit Surge does not work unless plugged into a power source. It won't turn on or synch, much less do anything else. Fresh out of the box. It is fully charged (as I can see only when it's plugged in). I've tried powering on/off both the Surge, Bluetooth, any other things I can think of. I've cleaned the contacts...ridiculous since it's literally brand new and never used/worn before. Help! I'm ready to return and forget Fitbit.

Hello YohanaFitbit,
Thank you for taking the time to reply. I already had a similar experience with the Alta...so now I'm forgetting about Fitbit until I do a little more research.
I have my old HR monitor (around the chest) and other items in the meantime.
