The strap on the Surge was not designed to be easily replaced and fitbit do not sell replacements. Are you still within warranty? It runs for 2 years in Europe and 1 year elsewhere and if you are covered then contact customer support as they may be able to replace your Surge:
If you are not covered by warranty then you can buy 3rd party strap replacements from amazon, ebay etc but they are not that easy to replace. There are guides on YouTube but you need some DIY skills.

You can buy replacement Surge straps from AliExpress.com, Amazon and various eBay sellers. All come with the Torx screwdriver needed to change the strap. Around $20 all in.
Plenty of video's on YouTube showing how easy it is to replace the Surge strap.

@TimLuts Did you resolve your inquiry? Please let me know if you need more help!
As a friendly reminder to all our Fitbitters friends, removing the bands by yourself before contacting Fitbit Support can void the warranty. So in case that you haven't talk to them, it's best to give a try.
I'll be waiting for your response!
