Fitbit surge battery help please

Hi,

 

I am a new user of the Fitbit surge as I just bought it two days ago. For some reason sometimes on my Fitbit it says fully charged at when I turn it back off and on it says it’s on medium. It randomly changes as well when it syncs with my iPhone app and I’m not sure what to do. Sometimes my phone says it’s on full battery as I sync it but then on he watch it is like low battery. What do I do?

You say you bought it brand new. Where? I'm asking as the Surge is pretty old and also discontinued.

 

Can you get back with the seller and ask for a refund?
