I have my Fitbit Surge since Xmas day, at first when I got it every time I turned my wrist to look at the time the screen light came on in low light conditions. This has now stopped even when using the touch screen it seems to be unpredictable e.g. sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Is the watch set wrong or is there a problem?

How you doing @canon6d? Congrats on your new Fitbit! You can restart your Fitbit Surge and check your Fitbit Settings, swipping the screen to "Settings" > "Backlight" > "Auto or On". If this doesn't work, contact Customer Support so they can give you the next step to try.
Keep up the good vibes!
