I recently moved from Florida, a very flat state, to North Carolina. I've noticed my surge doesn't take into account the intensity of elevation and the effect it has on my running pace. This is a long shot, but has anybody ever thought about adding a weather feature to Fitbit. It would be great for it to take into account the amount of heat and how that effects your calorie loss. Good for thought. If any of these things are available through Fitbit surge, please send me a link to finding and using them!

Weather information isn't available on any of the current Fitbit trackers.

The more votes increases the chance of the developers integrate the functionality.

 

Regarding your other wonderful idea.

 

Feel free to add your suggestions to the 'Feature Requests' Sub Forum, where users can vote, add comments,.. if there's a certain interest then there's a chance the developers pick it up and it'll be developed.
